Sentencing Young Adults: Getting it right

What could sentencers better understand about young adults in the criminal justice system? With an analysis of the current situation and arguments the need to change the approach, this briefing suggests that we consider sentencing 18 to 20 year olds under juvenile law, and that sentencers receive training on maturity of young adults to help inform their decisions.
