T2A’s chair is Leroy Logan, MBE, anti-racist campaigner, former Met superintendent, and a founding member of the Black Police Association.
More on Leroy LoganAs Director of Programmes at Barrow Cadbury Trust, Debbie has overall responsibility for delivery of the three funding programmes, including criminal justice and T2A, and also leads on the Trust’s strategic relationships in Birmingham. She has been T2A’s Deputy Chair since 2011.
Laurie Hunte is Criminal Justice Programme Manager at Barrow Cadbury Trust. His responsibilities include developing and maintaining partnerships with CJ stakeholders (including voluntary organisations, academics, government bodies and service users).
Gemma Buckland supports T2A with Policy and Public Affairs. She has been a freelance consultant in criminal justice research, policy and advocacy since 2019. Prior to this, she was a parliamentary justice senior committee specialist for 11 years.
Nadia joined Barrow Cadbury Trust in October 2018, and is the Programme Officer for three of the Trust’s programmes including Criminal Justice, Migration, and Economic Justice. She provides administrative and operational support to T2A.
Mark is a freelance communications consultant who supports T2A to reach criminal justice practitioners and policy makers – creating systemic and lasting change for young adult at all stages of the criminal justice system.
The Campaign Management Group (CMG) people are all from organisations Barrow Cadbury Trust supports, It meets around six times a year to give direction to T2A’s work.
Karene is a member of the Young Justice Advisors (YJA) and Leaders Unlocked. She has been working with both organisations for around three years. Throughout her time working with the YJA, she has participated in peer-to-peer research, been involved in the making of the guide to the female estate, and has presented reports.
Mark Day is Head of Policy and Communications at Prison Reform Trust, He is a trustee of the charity Unlock and clerk to the All-Party Parliamentary Group on Penal Affairs.
John Drew is a senior associate of the Prison Reform Trust, and a board member of the Alliance for Youth Justice. John is an independent safeguarding scrutineer of Cookham Wood Young Offender Institution and chair of the Management Board that oversees youth offending services in Birmingham and Surrey.
