Reshaping Resettlement

This piece of work will develop resettlement policy and practice to be more responsive to the needs of young adult prison leavers. 

Switchback has extensive experience supporting young adult men and is aware that they are at various stages of maturity and need a distinct approach to set their own futures. The project will amplify the experiences of the Switchback trainees, along with the evidence it has collected by delivering frontline services about what works in practice (such as relational support and localised approaches). Ultimately it aims to create a new national resettlement plan for young adults which can be adopted by statutory services.
