How do we determine how people and politicians feel maturity should be defined and measured and the extent to which it should be taken into account in the courts? Through interviews with a large sample of the public and a survey of MPs, this reports examines the opinions of the public and parliamentarians and finds that they agree that maturity and responsibility of young adults should be considered by courts.
