Why prioritise young adults? Four key messages for PCCs

Open guide

Young adults are only 10% of the population but account for a third of all crime, and are also the most likely group to be a victim of crime. This group will be a vital consideration for Police and Crime Commissioners (PCCs) as they set their local policing priorities and commission services to reduce crime and reoffending. This guide describes the importance of factoring in young adults in that process.
