How can the criminal justice system improve outcomes for young adults in custody and in the community? This parliamentary report makes recommendations for ensuring that the distinct needs of young adults up to the age of 25 are taken into account by the Ministry of Justice, as well as by the cross-departmental Reducing Reoffending Taskforce, and any solutions for addressing racial inequalities in response to the Lammy Review.
